Van Zandt Family Law

I was born and raised in San Francisco. I crossed the Bay to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree at U.C. Berkeley, and crossed back to San Francisco to obtain my J.D. at Golden Gate University.

My primary practice is in family law, including child custody, child and spousal support, complex property division and preparation of Marital Settlement Agreements. I serve as a court-appointed attorney for minors in contested guardianship cases, and I train and mentor guardianship attorneys through the Justice and Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco. I also represent proposed guardians in San Francisco Probate Court.
