After more than 33 years of family law practice, I firmly endorse the trend toward alternative dispute resolution of family law matters and embrace the philosophies of mediation and cooperative law. I have developed collegial relationships with many local practitioners and work hard to resolve matters outside of a courtroom setting. Whether acting as a representing attorney, a consulting attorney or a mediator, my philosophy is to minimize the conflict between parties and resolve cases quickly while working to ensure the best possible outcome for my clients. In the rare event that I cannot resolve a case without litigation, I have several litigation specialists with whom I consult to find the most advantageous and cost-effective way to resolve the most difficult contested cases.
